Jim Farmer is a retired corporate lawyer who spent the latter part his career at the Taft Law Firm and the earlier part of his career at Borden negotiating and documenting multi-million dollar business acquisitions and divestitures. Since retiring, he has devoted much of his time serving as an officer and board member of several civic organizations including the Short North Civic Association, North Community Counseling Centers, the Dublin-Worthington Rotary Club and now, the Short North Stage. He is humbled and excited to be asked to be a part of an organization that has created one of the region’s finest theater companies and looks forward to helping it achieve all if its future goals and plans. Jim obtained his Juris Doctor and Master of City and Regional Planning degrees from the Ohio State University, and his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.
